If you look closely, there are 2 of 500 bookmarks in the Corporation Locations folder. That's double what we have today and a very very welcome change, although our corp process has recently changed processes in order to make the current limitation have less of an impact on our daily lives.
In the past, I had kept a folder for every C1 wormhole system we encountered via our static connection. It was interesting to see how frequently we ran into the same systems and useful to have existing safe spots marked if we needed them. As the corp grew and the days passed, this archive quickly reached the 250 bookmark limit causing issues with corpmates, who do not have the necessary permissions to delete, to struggle to make new bookmarks. As a result, we changed to using daily dated folders for bookmarks and simply deleting them, no longer keeping a permanent archive of C1 sites. I find our new method more efficient and easier to understand but do miss the feeling of entering a system for the second time, randomly, and finding our bookmarks ready and waiting.
In the grand scheme of things, I don't expect now that this change will make much difference to us now though I do appreciate the attention to this pain point in many corporations. What I would very much like to see is Alliance level bookmarks which would help us coordinate with our brothers in space.
There is a lot more coming in Kronos and I'm looking forward to the "next big thing" from the slides at Fanfest which promise even more Corporation and Alliance improvements, or dare I say, overhaul which I hope will ease the pressures of security in a POS and allow us to have a more open recruitment policy and grow our corporation even faster. Anything to get more ships in space looking for trouble...
