We continue to operate as a haven for players with a strong RL > EVE slant to their playstyle which is a direct reflection on my own play recently. Real life has been taking up more time with the holidays nearing and personal projects around the house are taking precedence. Still, we continue to add new players through our recruitment efforts (though this has been put on hold recently from a silly high-sec wardec) and a couple familiar faces have returned bringing along some new ones. They have brought some experience working in higher class wormholes with them which is sparking interest in the newer players which is great to see. I've been able to get out and spend some time with the new scanning interface which received another facelift with Frostline. It is now my daily use map which is a long way from being almost unusable in previous iterations. I'm still not quite as fast with it as I was with the old map but I'm getting better each time I play. Scanning chains and looking for targets of opportunity have been the extend of my activities recently. With the new Operation Frostline sites popping up all over w-space, I'm very anxious to get out and try them both as the consumer and hunting those looking for the sites. The improvements to Data sites in the last patch will also probably push me to finally finish T2 hacking as the sites have become more valuable and they are now required for Ghost Sites.
On a personal note, I was really hoping to have some killmarks to show on my ship but that was not to be. I am getting better at dual-boxing with my alt though sometimes that has hindered me more than it has helped. I can really respect those players that can effectively dual or triple box clients. I crossed the two year mark with my character and am now approaching two and a half. I still have a lot to learn and still look forward to the journey.
